Blackbutt is an Australian hardwood and is a bright alternative to darker timbers such as blue gum and jarrah. All Fab Slabs kitchen bench tops are kiln dried to ensure stability and coated with a minimum of 3 double coats of Norglass, marine grade, heat resistant polyurethane.

The timber for this kitchen has real sentimental value for the owner as the trees were blown over in a storm on her property. Fab Slabs milled, dried and dressed the timber. We then listened to what the owner wanted, measured up and created the beautiful kitchen you see in the pictures.
