New Timber: Biggest island bench
Timber Slabs: Lemon scented gum & bread boards
What's New? - December 2007
A massive month in the lead up to Christmas. With many orders still to fill and only a month until Christmas we have had no option but to close our books until January.
What went out? To name a few..
- Another amazing lemon scented gum, solid timber slab, island bench. This one went to Maleny on the Sunshine Coast into a beautiful old Queeenslander. The bench contained a combination of rich brown, yellow, cream and shades of grey. A real feature with plenty of character.
- A solid timber slab outdoor setting went out to Oxenford on the Gold Coast. The 2.4 metre x 800 mm wide table with matching bench seats was generously coated in marine grade poly which will stand the test of time outside near the pool. A real WOW factor in an ideal setting.
- Our BIGGEST island bench yet - a MASSIVE 6 metres long by 1 metre wide. This solid timber slab benchtop is the feature at the new Tropical Grove Nursery at Tweed Heads. Due to open just before Christmas this new nursery also has a coffee shop and eateries. Worth a look
The new launch
We launched our new line breadboards in stores across the Sunshine Coast this month.
The breadboards are made from kiln dried solid timber slabs and handcrafted into a variety of shapes. They are oiled with a natural vegetable oil and come with instructions for easy maintenance.
Prices range from $14.99 for a small to $44.99 for a large. They come in a variety of timbers and make an ideal gift.
According to Chanel 9's 'What's Good For You', they are the most hygienic breadboards, even more hygienic that glass and marble and they are much better for you knives.
The solid timber breadboards are available at
Fairhill Native Nursery Yandina
The Pot Place Buderim
BE quick - they are selling like hot cakes!
