What’s New May 2009
The Maleny Wood Show
The Maleny Wood Show was our most successful show yet – we displayed quality handcrafted, kiln dried, timber slab furniture along with our very popular camphor laurel cutting boards, a kitchen photo display and giant blue gum burls over 2 metres in diameter.
Our display consisted of modern dining tables, a solid timber bed, bars and bar stools, coffee tables made from blackbutt, blue gum and brush box, coffee tables with chess board inlays, bar tables, mirrors and lots more. If you missed us at the wood show please give us a call or send us an email and we can arrange to send you some photos. You can also see us in July at the Nambour Home Garden Expo.
What have we done this Month?
A number of awesome solid timber slab kitchens – mainly in blue gum this month. We have done kitchens in Esk, Rochedale and Samford as well as Camphor Laurel bench tops in Derby Western Australia and blackbutt timber slab bench tops for Eumundi Originals. We have some quality kiln dried slabs due out of the kilns over the next 2 weeks (blue, gum, lemon scented gum and doolan) and some more quality slabs going in (brush box, blackbutt, blue gum and more doolan).
Cutting Boards
We would like to welcome the Ritchies IGA group on board. You will now find our cutting boards at Ritchie’s IGA Carindale and possibly a number of other the other Richie’s IGA stores in the future.
Our new distributor for cutting boards for wineries (cellar door sales) throughout Australia and New Zealand is Anstine Services. Andstine Services is a one stop for wineries. Andstine Services has recently promoted our quality kiln dried camphor cutting boards in Stanthorpe and Sunshine Coast and will be promoting the boards in Melbourne at the end of May. We also welcome Coco’s at Capalaba. Coco’s not only sells fresh fruit and vegetables and tasty deli lines, they now sell Fab Slabs quality had crafted cutting boards. If you are in the area stop in and say ‘Hi’ to Veronica.
